The leadership of FBCO is working hard to reopen safely services in accordance with the current executive order for Florida. This means that in addition to the proper maximum number of attendees at services, we will continue to work hard to ensure the safety of everyone through steps such as: removing our regular greeting time, offering "touch free" giving options, offering hand sanitizer throughout the facility, regularly cleaning the facility after services, and spacing chairs out 6 feet to maintain distancing.
FBCO will reopen in several phases. We are currently in our second phase, the details of which can be found below. Phase Two In this phase, we will continue to hold worship services in the Family Life Center on Sundays at 10:30am. We will also begin offering Sunday School for adults (beginning at 9:30am), and Youth Group and Prayer Meeting on Wednesday evenings (beginning at 6:00pm). All classes will be moved to areas large enough to accommodate proper social distancing practices. The church office will also begin opening for normal operating hours (8:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday).
Currently, we will not be holding regular Children's programs, Nursery, or Sunday evening Bible study.
While we will take every step possible to ensure a safe environment for worship, we want to encourage everyone to continue exercising wisdom and discretion. Florida's current executive order states that, "senior citizens and individuals with a significant underlying medical condition are strongly encouraged to avoid crowds and take measures to limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19." Please know that if this applies to you, or if you think you may be sick, or are nervous about attending services, we will continue to offer online services each Sunday so you can continue worshiping with us. These will be live-streamed from the Family Life Center at 10:30am on our YouTube channel.
If you plan to attend on-campus services or classes, please come prepared to maintain social distancing and to exercise healthy practices such as: frequently washing/sanitizing hands, avoiding touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, and covering all coughs and sneezes in the bend of your elbow. If you are willing, we encourage the use of masks to limit the spread of any possible germs.
