The leadership of FBCO is working hard to safely reopen services in accordance with the current executive order for Florida. This means that we will continue to work hard to ensure the safety of everyone through steps such as: removing our regular greeting time, offering "touch free" giving options, offering hand sanitizer throughout the facility, regularly cleaning the facility after services, and spacing chairs to allow for proper social distancing of 6 feet between households.
FBCO will reopen in several phases. We are currently in our third phase, the details of which can be found below. Phase Three In this phase, we will bring back our Sunday evening Bible study. This will be held every Sunday evening at 6:00pm, and will take place in the gymnasium of the Family Life Center. Meeting in the gymnasium will allow for enough room for households to properly social distance.
During this phase we will continue: worship services in the Family Life Center on Sundays (10:30am), Sunday School for adults, children, and youth (9:30am), Youth Group and Prayer Meeting on Wednesday evenings (6:00pm). Children's Church on Sundays will also resume (10:30am). All classes and services will continue to remain in areas large enough to accommodate proper social distancing practices. The church office will also continue to remain open during regular operating hours (8:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday).
Currently, we will not be holding our Wednesday night children's program, and our nursery program will be limited to Sunday mornings during the worship service (10:30am).
While we are taking every step possible to ensure a safe environment for worship, we want to encourage everyone to continue exercising wisdom and discretion. If you think you may be sick, or are unable or nervous about attending services, please know that we will offer online services each Sunday so you can continue worshiping with us. These will be live-streamed from the Family Life Center at 10:30am on our YouTube channel.
If you plan to attend on-campus services or classes, please come prepared to maintain social distancing and to exercise healthy practices such as: frequently washing/sanitizing hands, avoiding touching your eyes, nose, or mouth, and covering all coughs and sneezes in the bend of your elbow.
