Volunteering at church is more than just offering your time and skills—it’s a way to serve God and others, build a strong sense of community, and grow in your faith.

Each one of us is gifted with unique talents and experiences by our Creator. When we offer our time and talents, we not only help the church community thrive, but we also grow spiritually, & build deeper connections with fellow believers.
By helping with ministries, events, or outreach programs, you play an essential role in making the church’s mission a reality.

Ultimately, serving in the church reflects Christ’s love and helps create a thriving, supportive, and Christ-centered community.

There’s A Place For YOU!

  • Greet families and individuals who come to our services with a warm and friendly smile. Provide information to guests on class times and lead them to the correct locations.

  • Help with potluck preparation. This includes setting up tables, prepare food, and clean up.

  • Aid in the important role of organizing and preparing meals (either on campus or to take to homes) for families who have lost a loved one.

  • Help with taking up the offering during the service, and helps guests find seats when needed.

  • Lights, Camera, Action!

    This team handles the sound, slides, and streaming for Sunday services.

  • This team is our first point of contact after the service for first-time guests. They are knowledgable about FBCO and it's ministries, mission, and vision.

  • Join our Children's Ministry (Babies-5th grade) or Youth Ministry (6th-12th grade) to help teach and guide the next generation in their faith journey. Opportunities to serve are available on Sundays or Wednesdays, once a month or more!

  • Helps take care of the FBCO campus and its facilities through hands-on maintenance and projects.


  • Help prepare for Communion and baptism as needed.

  • Help us meet the physical needs of those in our community by distributing food, clothes, and essential items. Most importantly, help us meet the spiritual needs of those in the community by pointing them to Jesus.

  • Join our Worship Team and use your gifts to help lead others in authentic praise—there’s a place for every voice and instrument! 
    There are opportunities to help lead worship that do not involve singing. Help lead the congregation in elements such as call and response or corporate reading of scripture.

  • Assist in preparing the Family Life Center for Sunday worship service. The set up crew is on rotation to meet on Saturdays.

Our church thrives because of the dedication and love of our volunteers. It takes a committed team working together to serve, support, and create a welcoming place for all who come through our doors. Whether it’s greeting newcomers, helping with children’s ministry, or supporting community outreach, there’s a place for you to make a meaningful impact.
